2018 Aerialympics STL
Oh my gosh! I decided in June of 2017 to compete in March 2018. Good Lawd, I worked on this for too long.
I changed my song so many times.
Listen.. I was so stressed and having a really hard time in my personal life. It was so difficult to even move sometimes, let alone train for a competition. At the end, I said "fuck it" and went out there and did what I could. I placed last. I'm not even mad. The one thing I have to say is I learned so much that day. My whole reason for posting this story is to say that I finished a project that many people would have quit because shit got too messed up in my life. My coach, Holly said "we do not quit". She's right. We never quit. We go out and do what we do. Now we have a baseline for what we have to beat the next time we hit the stage. I'm into it. I love this routine. I do. I love this song and the audience was happy so I'm totally good. I really like the pancake and the numerous hair flips. I'm sassy like that. #extraAF
